The Babysitting Registry

Need to run some errands? Planning a special night out? It’s the Babysitting Registry to the rescue! The Babysitting Registry is the optimal way to make space for yourself while your children are in a safe, fun and nurturing environment. Our nannies bring age appropriate games, books and activities to engage your children with. This one year membership gives you unlimited access to a number of highly qualified Nannies. There is a $15 fee per day to the agency, then you pay the nanny directly $12.00 per hour.

How does the Babysitting Registry Work?

Step 1: Booking a Nanny
Contact the agency with your request for a nanny at least 24 hours before you need her to arrive. A resume of the nanny including her photo, education and work experience will be faxed or emailed to you. $15 non-refundable processing fee per day will be accessed at the time of your call. Reservations made outside of our Monday—Friday 9 am to 5 pm operating hours will be charged a $25 after hours fee.*

Step 2: At Your Booking
The nanny will arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled sit dressed in a Nannies & Housekeepers USA polo shirt. She will bring paper work for you to fill out with pertinent information such as any allergies your child may have or any special instructions you would like for her to follow.

Step 3: After Your Booking
The nanny will review the sit with you upon your return. At that time you will pay her $12 in cash for each hour of her stay with a 4 hour minimum. If you would like you can contact the agency with your feedback on this nanny’s performance. *If you should need to cancel your reservation please call at least 4 hours in advance to avoid being billed for the full 4 hours ($48). Holiday rates are subject to increase.

What qualifications do your Nannies have?

Our applicants undergo a rigorous background investigation including:

  • Criminal Check
  • Driving History
  • Work References
  • Sex Offender Check
  • Drug Screening
  • Social Security Verification

Our applicants are required to have a minimum of two years experience, must be legal to work in the United States and are first aid and CPR certified. Many of our applicants are professional educators, bilingual, and college educated.
